The ASUS EEE keyboard launch date has been confirmed as October by an executive of the company. The keyboard has been exciting many people since it was first spotted back in January at CES 2009. The keyboard boasts specifications very similiar to a netbook, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, either a 16GB or 32GB solid state drive, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI and a 5inch touch screen, all in one rather sleek device. It is battery powered, although no official battery times have surfaced, similar times to it's netbook counterparts should be achievable.
It will be available in both Europe and North America, although ASUS are still remaining tight lipped on it's price. Estimates have said it will be around $400-$500 or around £300 upon launch. The EEE keyboard certainly won't look out of place on a coffee table in your lounge, will it? Discuss in our Forums
