In addition to all the top-of-the-line ROG motherboard features, the Rampage III Black Edition also boasts of an additional dedicated LAN/audio combo card. Dubbed ROG Thunderbolt, this card features the latest XONAR audio solution that takes audio experience through the board to unheard of heights. The built-in headphone amplifier automatically optimizes impedance settings when a headphone is connected to deliver crystal clear sound.

For the first time, ASUS has also brought in the Bigfoot Networks powered Killer E2100 Network Processing Unit, which automatically detects and accelerates gaming data whenever the user is on the network. This makes the ASUS ROG Rampage III Black Edition one of the best motherboards around for network-based gaming.

The second product is the CG8350 gaming desktop, a system that brings everything required by professional gamers into a single system. Built around the newest Intel Core i7-2600 processor, the CG8350 desktop boasts of 100% solid state capacitors on the motherboard. This gives the system exceptional stability even in extreme gaming conditions. The Turbo Boost 2.0 technology on the Intel processor allows gamers to instantly overclock the CPU when gaming demands it.

ASUS has integrated its GTX 460 graphics card to give mainstream graphics processing abilities to the system. Also loaded into the system is ASUS’ exclusive Energy Processing Unit (EPU), a unique programmable microchip that regulates energy consumption throughout the system.

ASUS expects both products to receive a strong response from the gaming community, though that is likely to be controlled by the price factor once it is announced.
