It seems that diversification is now the name of the game, Corsair have come from making memory to making almost everything else for a pc, gigabyte, once known only for motherboards are now making some of the best graphics cards about, and Arctic Cooling, once known only for cheap, good quality, silent CPU coolers have come a long way from their origins to now be offering full entertainment systems with all the bells and whistles.

The MC101 Series features an AMD APU with plenty of graphics grunt to back it up and a HD audio decoder to boot, it should be more than powerful enough for any HTPC needs and even the occasional gaming session if you fancy a go no your big screen TV instead of your monitor.

Connectivity is covered by an inbuilt wireless N card, gigabit lan, HDMI, and the usual selection of USB including USB3, it even has a TV tuner!

There are three variaties of this system, the basic, the pro, and the barebones, to clarify it for you all, the barebones is the basic, but without the hard drive, you simply select whatever hard drive (or SSD if you want complete silence), and away you go, it gives you the choice.

And with a nice efficient PSU in these money scrimping times, it shouldn't be too bad on the old electricity bills either not to mention the fact it looks like a solid bit of kit that would fit right in under any modern TV setup.

Arctic's MC101 Series will be released after the official launch of the AMD Trinity APU.
