AMD has released a second update for its Catalyst series drivers within a week – this time around it is the 10.10c Hotfix. Continuing the upgrade process started with the 10.10a Hotfix released last week, the new release brings some interesting enhancements for games and for the Radeon HD 6800 series graphics cards.

Here are the new enhancements introduced through the Catalyst 10.10c Hotfix:

• ·         Support for OpenGL 1.4 beta
• ·         Resolution of negative scaling in Dead Rising 2 through Crossfire profile
• ·         Improved Crossfire performance for several games including:
• o   Metro 2033
• o   F1 2011 for Direct X9
• o   Fallout New Vegas
• ·         Support for the new Morphological Anti-Aliasing feature
• ·         Further performance boosts for systems running AMD Radeon HD 6870 and HD 6850 series cards, in particular for the following games:
• o   Aliens versus Predators
• o   Star Craft 2
• ·         Performance improvements for OpenGL, especially for games including Prey, Quake Wars: Enemy Territories, and Heaven v2
