It seems a recession brings all the companies out into the diversification market, AMD are just following suit in some very big footsteps, so, if you haven't gathered from the title, AMD is branching out into the memory market!

They have teamed up with Patriot to bring AMD Branded memory to the market, this is a very interesting move by AMD, as it has been done before by a company, i distinctly remember Nvidia branded memory, and ATi branded memory from years back, but AMD memory should be something different.

AMD have gone for a three tier product, where there is the entry level, the mid range, and the top spec, lets have a look what they've come up with shall we?
