Aerocool Readies RS-4 Mid-Tower Gaming Case Page: 1

Chassis maker Aerocool has come through with another one of its gaming cases today; this time around it is the RS-4 Mid-Tower chassis. Featuring some exclusive and eye-catching design elements, the RS-4 has been designed in a black/red color scheme.

Aerocool has given its RS-4 gaming chassis all the features that can be expected from a case of its class. The black and red case has been structured using 0.6mm SECC steel, which gives it a sleek and classy yet sturdy appearance. The front of the case features four exposed 5.25-inch drive bays, which are added to by two HDD cages on the inside of the case. One of the two HDD cages is removable if extra space is required within.

The manufacturer has designed the RS-4 such that users can insert and remove their optical disk drives and HDDs without any tools. The top of the case has two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, audio and mic jacks – all part of a special I/O panel. There is also a 58-in-1 card reader, seven expansion slots, and a built-in handle for lifting and carrying the case.

Aerocool has equipped the case with two 140mm LED-lit fans – one each on the front and the top respectively. The 1,500 RPM fans provide strong cooling for the entire assembly and they do it without emitting anything more than 30 dBA of sound. The fan speeds can even be controlled using the specially provided fan controller.

For those who prefer liquid cooling for their rigs, the RS-4 has a couple of pre-drilled holes in the back that are perfect for water cooling tubes. The best part about the chassis is that despite so many system elements, the case itself only measures 475 (H) x 200 (W) x 475 (D) mm in dimensions.

Enthusiasts and gamers can expect to get their hands on the RS-4 within the next few days and will have to shell out €79.90 for this gaming chassis.
