Ever wanted to control your PC from afar without having to deal with a full-size wireless keyboard?  Well now you can!  Logitech have released their iPhone/iPod Touch app, Touch Mouse, for download from the iTunes App Store.

This new app allows users to turn their device into a compact, wireless touch-operated PC input device.  The app works over Wi-Fi, interfacing between the app on your device and a server application on your PC.  Seemingly perfect for HTPC use, the app gives users access to the following features:

  • *Multi-touch trackpad with the option for two or three mouse buttons
  • *Two-finger scrolling
  • *Keyboard with Control, Alt, Command/Windows keys
  • *On-screen text display while typing
  • *Show or hide the keyboard at any time
  • *Trackpad and keyboard are available in landscape and portrait modes

To try out the app, simply download and install (free of charge!) the Mouse Touch App to your iDevice and the Touch Mouse Server to your computer.  Detailed instructions can be found here.

Got it on my iPhone and PC. It works, period.

Nout more that you can say, other than it's a damn good bit of software that acts like a very good wireless mouse :)

Yeah sorted it out earlier before I went out and had a lil browse with it... As Matt said, it works very well.

Connects within seconds, setup is idiot proof and is very handy. Probably wont use it much due to the DiNovo Mini but if I didn't have that it would be a godsend.

Yeah I had a go at it the other night, very nice! Although at times it takes a few seconds to acknowledge the cursor.

Good toy for freakin my kids out!
Snuck up behind them and started moving the mouse.

They blamed me so I walked into the kitchen and still moved it, ahhh the fun parents can have.

Damn, wish I still had my iPhone to give this a go with :(

I should think the keyboard would be pretty cool on an iPad... One mega sized touch pad!
