ZOTAC Debuts Compact ZBOX Nano AD10 Mini-PCs

The brand new Nano series of mini-PCs has been released by ZOTAC, these low energy compact units provide the perfect solution for those looking for something that doesn't take up huge amounts of desk space but still has the performance for their multimedia rich daily tasks.

Both versions of the Nano feature the AMD E-350 APU Platform, dual cores clocked at 1.6 GHz with an AMD Radeon™ HD 6310 GPU onboard. This provides excellent energy efficient performance for a HTPC, Office System, Web system, a real plus with electricity prices on the rise.

With HDMI, DisplayPort and plenty of USB2.0/3.0 it has loads of connectivity. It has the ability to output 8 channel audio through HDMI, making it the perfect HTPC solution with a compact size that rivals the WD Live! With support for SATA 6.0 Gb/s port and support for 2.5" drives this system would be ideal for one of the new range of SSDs. DX11 support as standard, 1000Mbps LAN, 802.11n/g/b WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 make this is a fully featured system in a tiny package.

The "Plus" version offers the same specifications as the barebones Nano AD10 but also includes a 2.5" 320GB 5400RPM HDD along with a 2GB stick of DDR3 SO-DIMM memory so it is ready to use right away.

Crossfire 6850s or 6950s would be good - or 6870x2

Sure it wasn't your PSU though?

My psu had no issues running GTX280's in sli or GTS450's in sli. I bought the second card from ebay and repaired but it is not 100% stable under extreme load. It works fine solo but in crossfire it buggers up. Going to get one 6850 for now and see about getting another one later. However i think a combined buffer rate of 4gb is ott on a 32" lcd tv lol

Indeed it is. 2x 1.5GB cards would be ideal but AMD have no such cards

Last upgrade on this machine before i start a new project. Have ordered a Ati 6870 1gb, found it for £100 so bought it instead of the xfx 6850 2gb. Going to see how it performs with one then maybe crossfire it when i get my new case.

Has been a while since i upgraded my pc but i have now got the bug to buy new parts lol
Here is a list of what i will be buying.
Case - Sharkoon Tauran Red version. PAID
Graphics Card - AMD 7870. When released hopefully XFX DD edition. Man i love those DD's (inuendo included)
Mobo - Asus Crosshair V. End of March
Cooler - Corsair H80 or H100. Depending on spacings and what i get for my coolers ( NZXT Havik 140mm and Thermalright IFX-14)

That is the list as of now. I intend on spraying the mesh red like i did to my Thermaltake case and also spraying the dvd drive red (dont be mad Tom)
If any body has any recommendations on the parts i have chosen feel free to butt in and tell me what you think i should get instead.
Hopefully you'll see an upadate on Tuesday when the case arrives.

I'd wait to see how the 7870 performs but it should fit the build nicely. Look foreward to seeing this :)

New Components = Win, waiting for new components = fail, though when i ordered my current psu for scan the DPD guy came and i was at school he left his slip thing and came back about half 4 just when i got back to check if anyone was home = WIN

wouldnt get the h80 tbh but the h100 with a quieter set of fans would be a briliant choice

That is what i am thinking but need to see if the case has the correct mounting holes for it. If not it will get modded i think.
Glad the components sound good. Gives me a chance to use my new camera too wohoo!!!
