Toshiba to ship AMD-based notebooks

AMD announced that Toshiba will launch three Satellite notebook PCs based on an AMD mobile platform. The systems will feature the AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology and the AMD M690 series chipset and are expected to start shipping the new consumer notebooks in time for the back-to-school season. Toshiba plans to first launch the AMD-based notebooks in the United States and Europe. Toshiba is the latest notebook OEM to begin using AMD CPUs in its systems. Long time Intel-only OEM Dell began shipping AMD-based notebooks in the fourth quarter of last year.

I`m not sure if this is promotable on here (delete if it`s necessary) - but try that quicktime-alternative codec, and see if that works.

If it does I`d lmao.

hehe the conspirists would have a field-day with this.
