NOKIA laptops on the cards?

Nokia to launch Laptops?Finnish mobile phone giants, NOKIA,  have a long history of bringing new innovations to mobile phones, and it would seem that they are considering expanding their horizons. In an interview on YLE, a Finnish TV station, NOKIA's chief executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo admitted that the company is very seriously considering entering the laptop market.

This has been a long standing rumour, but this has been the first time that anyone from the company has confirmed it. Kallasvuo said that with the convergance of the IT and telecoms industries due to netbooks, NOKIA would be foolish not to be looking into the market.

Do you think NOKIA could work their magic on laptops? Could they bring anything new to the market? Discuss in our forums here.

Iv recently migrated to openoffice and its default file extention is .ODF

I know open office can open office 2007 files...but can office 2007 open .ODF files?

No. Just no.

If you're on win7, wordpad can open the .ODF format. If you're not on win7, google docs can do it for you.

Microsoft are adding the ability to open these files in their next service pack.
