MSI X-Slim X600 Gets Featured
MSI’s X-slim series X600 notebook has led to lot of expectations since its announcement; however, specifications for the flagship notebook have been kept under wraps by the manufacturer. A leak late last week however has brought many-a-detail into the open.Reportedly designed to take on the MacBook Air, the X600 is enviably thin at less than one-inch and weighs around 4.6lbs. According to the specifications revealed, there are two models of the X600, both powered by Intel’s CULV platform and featuring 1366x768 resolution 15.6in screens.
The first version carries a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD. Integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet provide good connectivity options. The second version offers a 1.2GHz Intel Celeron processor with 3GB of RAM and a smaller, 320GB HDD. While Wi-Fi and Ethernet are included, this version is missing Bluetooth.
Common features on both notebooks include a VGA port, three USB ports, and the standard audio I/O ports in addition to a webcam. A memory card reader, full-size keyboard with separate numeric keypad, and 6-cell lithium-polymer battery rounds-up the specifications. On the graphics side of things, support comes in the form of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 chipset, which has 512MB of VRAM and HDMI output.
Not a bad set of specifications; though enthusiasts might be expecting more. The X600s will become available in Italy at the end of this month with a price tag of $1320 for the 1.4GHz model and $1120 for the 1.2GHz model.

Only 4890 im interested in is the asus voltage mod 4890 with 950mhz core. Othert than that not interested :p
These the cards made that sometimes get listed as "NVIDIA" instead of a manufacturer name ?
I assume they're reference ones that stores can attach their own logos if there is an agreement ?

After reading the reviews, I can tell you that they give either Sparkle cards or Palit cards. Probably other low end manufacturers' versions as well.
All the same unless it is factory overclocked. ;)
