MSI Unveils its Smallest Gaming Notebook

The new GX403 notebook from MSIMSI has launched a svelte new laptop – the GX403 targeted at gamers. Just 14in wide and fashionably slim, the laptop is MSI’s smallest offering for the gaming fraternity.

The Centrino 2 Duo based laptop features a 14.1in display capable of a WSXGA+ resolution and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 256MB graphics card. Other features include a 320GB hard drive, up to 4GB of RAM, a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, Express Card, and eSATA. An optional Blu-ray drive is also available.

The GX403 will be available with varying speed-grade CPUs, which can be overclocked by users through MSI’s one-touch Turbo Drive Technology. Though designed for gamers, the notebook has all the ingredients to attract business travellers too.

MSI is still to release pricing or battery life details for the GX403, which will come with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

Battery life and heat - I wanna know about these! alot!

Pointless with all of that power if you can't even complete 1 level of a game on battery power...

12cell battery should give it sóme battery time, especially when it has software removing load from all but one-two threads. It's weight I'm wondering about.
