Foxconn For Apple Tablet
Foxconn have apparently been contracted to produce the long rumoured tablet device from Apple. Launching sometime in Q1 of 2010, Apple are expected to ship between 300,000 and 400,000 units in Q1.The device is believed to be a 10.6" screen and focuses on e-book functionality, rather than music. Although, music playback functionality will likely be included, along side long battery life and internet connectivity. It is rumoured than other manufacturers will follow, with similiar products in Q2 of 2010.
The exact specifications aren't confirmed yet, but it's definately going to be some hybrid between an oversized smart phone and a portable pc.
