ASUS Eee PC 8G Coming
"ASUS will be releasing a new, "larger" Eee PC"
Published: 16th November 2007 | Source: DailyTech |
After the successful launch of their lightweight Eee PC 4G, ASUS already has a new model in the works. This new Eee PC, to be called the 8G, will have a 3" screen size bump up to 10" as well as double the onboard hard drive size, making a total of 8GB (as the name suggests).
ASUS spokesman Holger Schmidt has given word that the overall footprint of the 8G will be the same as the current 4G, meaning the built-in speakers and webcam will likely gain new placement.
No official word has been given on the new screen resolution or pricing; however, speculation puts it at 1024x600 with a price of $499.

use nbitor to flash the bios of the card, should you want to. That way you can boot the PC with overclock settings, which is nice to see if it is stable.
