Creative Apple Dispute
That's right, Apple Computers, manufacturer of the ever-popular iPod, has thrown in the towel in its dispute with Creative.

Starting in May earlier this year, the issue began when Creative demanded that the sales of Apple's iPod be blocked due to a patent infringement of the user interface that Creative created.

Apple has agreed to pay Creative a sum of $100 million to end all legal disputes between the two companies. In return, Creative will give Apple a paid-up license to use the patent in its products. Apple will be able to gain back some of its payment if Creative is able to license its patent to other companies. Creative have also announced that they will be joining Apple's "Made for iPod" program and will begin creating their own iPod accessories later this year.
