Patriot Upgrades Performance for 128GB Warp SSDs

The new, faster 128GB SSD from Patriot MemoryPatriot has just upgraded its Warp series SSDs to put them at par with Intel’s E series; a move that is expected to heat up the highly competitive SSD market. The new SSD now offers read and write speeds of 240MB/s and 160MB/s respectively.

SSDs are believed to be the next big thing in memory and all the big players are vying for a piece of the pie. Intel leads the speed pack with its enterprise-oriented E series, which offers read and write speeds of 250MB/s and 170MB/s respectively. While most other players are still trying to catch-up, Patriot has silently upgraded its 2.5in 128GB Warp SSD to v3. The upgrade takes its speed up to the level of Patriot’s 256GB option and just one step behind Intel.

The company is yet to announce availability details for the 128GB Warp SSD v3, but keeping in mind the current price stability in the SSD market, the new drive is not expected to come cheap.

Not sure if anyone has posted this so if they have, my bad. If not then I don't think this deal will be running much longer but hey.

Anyway as the title says, you can buy Tomb Raider Anniversary - PC version 75% off @ £3.50 on Steam!
