Microsoft, in an attempt to convince security experts that 'Vista' suffers from none of the security issues of it's older sibling, have been upstaged; and the not even released OS hacked at a black hat security conference in Las Vegas. It has been reported though, that previous issues associated with wireless networking, web application security issues, Internet Explorer 7 and the TCP/IP stack have been resolved in Vista. It certainly appears that Microsoft are now seeing the value of allowing their OS's to be analysed by white collar hackers in exchange for solutions to problems that have plagued the Redmond giant for years.
