Will your next PC be "Vista Ready"?
"Will your next PC be "Vista Ready"?"
Published: 3rd April 2006 | Source: N/A |
Microsoft have announced that they have given out the specs list to OEM Manufacturers for the requirements of a "Vista Ready" PC. They will have a "Vista Ready" badge to give customers *ahem* confidence that their PC can "run" Vista.
The spec is for the very basic-of-basics Home edition and would not include the "Glass" GUI effects so once again Microsoft are coming up with a bit of a con. The whole shebang is more likely to require much meatier spec but so far Microsoft have not released this.
You will need 512mb memory, a directX 9.0 class video card and a compatible processor from eith AMD, Intel or Via.
