Microsoft have conceeded to the massses who were are crying for improvements to the currently botched successor to XP and have allowed the Release Candidate (not the final) iteration of Vista SP1 to go public.

It has barely been a year since Vista has been released and the issue of a Service Pack so early in a Win OS life can arguably be interpreted as an admission that the original Vista was severely flawed.
