TorrentSpy Loses

"The end to TorrentSpys trial, and it isn't a nice ending. "

TorrentSpy Loses
It has been a two year battle between TorrentSpy and HollyWood Studios, unfortunately yesterday TorrentSpy was found guilty by a Californian federal judge and now they have to pay $30k for the copyright infringement of each film or TV show. Since there are 3,699 copyright violated films/TV shows on TorrentSpy they have to pay a huge sum of $110,970,000. Ouch!
TorrentSpy was originally sued in Febuary 2006 but since they had been accused of destroying vital evidence the possibility of a fair trial was smashed.
MPAA CEO Dan Glickman said the judgment should serve as warning to other search services of file-sharing applications.

"The demise of TorrentSpy is a clear victory for the studios and demonstrates that such pirate sites will not be allowed to continue to operate without facing relentless litigation by copyright holders,"

I didn't mean it in a "my god i hate you and your gloves, you should die" way at all.

I'm similar with my projects. They have to be perfect or i pretty much start again.

lmfao. interesting reply there guys.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Had a lovely doberman the other week that would have made a great pet but had to give him to the dog warden.

As for the glove thing, I normally work for a company called Zorba Delicacies when im not in college, this means handing the entire countrys choices of dips for superstores, ASDA, Tescos, Morrisons and Iceland. We make every dip imagineable. Cheese and Chive, Garlic onion and herb, Tzatiki, Seafood etc, so I'm washing my hands about 100 times a day, changing my gloves about 400 times and touching un cooked dairy products. As a result, I like wearing gloves when i touch something not human and i clean my hands ALOT!!!
