Steam Coming To A Linux Distro Near You?
It appears that Valve are making a valiant effort to include those who use alternative OS's and include porting of games on their Steam client over to Linux. The company is reportedly in the process of hiring a senior software engineer.
The company said wants to hire a senior software engineer that would serve as "lead engineer and architect on product integration into the highly available digital distribution platform software developed by Valve".
Windows-based games ported to Linux and Mac OS X is surely a step in the right direction and many legions of fans 'left out in the cold' can now rejoice.
