Do you know what so do I , but i just spent ages downloading again, really need to write a letter to steam yto suggest the option of downloading updates and storing them in advance of a fresh install.
Just copy + paste the entire steam folder and store it as a backup.
Then when you re-install simply pate back onto your new install and double click on steam
Voila backup done with minimal Steam updates
Cheers ^^ I had already done the backup and didnt copy it over as it was already downloading, might just do it now as the size of my backup is 1.5 gig bigger than the new one. also just found the defrag option for the game.
