Microsoft Office Rival Goes Beta
Open Office was once seen as the poor man's Microsoft Office, but although it may be open source software it has always given Microsoft Office a run for it's money. Open Office has been in existence for over nine years now and we are nearing the release of the newest release, version 3.0. A public beta has been released for download and is available now.

There are various improvements over the previous version, with improved Microsoft Office document compatibility and it will feature aditional support for the OpenDocument file format, which is to integrated into Office 2007.
You can visit the Open Office website for more information here. You can also discuss in our forums here.

No problemo... Be sure to let us know how you find it in this thread!
You have to you know.
Good mouse control - Razer Diamondback 3G
Sucky - G5 :D.
had time to get used to this mouse.
not bad i must say.
i WOULD say it is better than my lachesis, the lachesis is WAAAAAY too small, and very VERY light (the one thing imo that plagues razer mice (apart from AWFUL drivers)).
its a solid, good looking mouse, not as sensitive as my lachesis which annoys me slightly, but very good all rounder.
the G5 does seem a good mouse and I wish you both many happy fraggin's :D Suprised no one mentioned the Habu, Razer mouse, MS drivers, and I love it! Is the 2007 edition actually textured or just printed like that?
it is textured. But i find it actually helps with the grip. If i get the time, i might paint the blue lines with UV blue.

Well like I said, I can't speak for the others, but I can say the G5 is solid as. Also looks quite good.
