Looking amazing!

There's a video over at Team XBox

I am very much looking forward to this game - we will certainly be hosting a server with it on!

I play but i get bored of just playing a bot ( and getting beat lol) I look on everytime i play but no one is ever on it. It is useful for pistol practice but would be alot better if people got on it.

Well i did go on for a bit a while ago, got abused by some random clan *as you do nowadays * but i havent been able to fit any games in for like 2 weeks recently, with all this german coursework this, maths revision that!!

I got that when I went onto the gungame server a while ago, there was a clan who were allover the top10.
Think 8 of the top10 were from the clan. They were using teamspeak and walking around like lemmings, working as a team. Allowing 1 of them to get all the kills.

I changed my name, adding the OC3D tag on the next map and started killing them and 3rounds in they suddenly started disconnecting.

Yeah that too, ESPECIALLY the gun game server. There are a lot of clans using it as their meeting place, actually almost running the place - flaming users, accusing decent players as hackers and trying to get people to vote kick/ban plus using the crappest rates known to man.

Does the deathmatch and gun game have the ace rates enforcment thingy? I think they should

We don't have acerates as steam introduced a proper rates checker officaly. But it probably dosn't work and theyve disabled the mani commands that let us change peoples rates.

ARGH, its infuriating especially in deathmatch when u can literally poke their eye out with an m4 for example, shoot a nice accurate burst - most people this will kill, but there always that german guy who is unhittable...almost!!

haha :)

Don't mention Germans around Jiffz + Llwyd tbh :)
We've had loads of clanmatches against germans who are obviously cheating and have dodgy rates. Even some French aswell :(

I think rate enforcement is needed on all the servers tbh

So true ^

Why is css so dependable on the user not playing with their config? Ive never encountered another game like it! Why cant there be set configs for say a low end pc, medium, high, with corresponding settings for connection speed also...

I have just had a duel with a bot again, anyone up for having a go now, once people see it is busy we should saee new faces coming on.

Even if they cheat for a while at least they will be on.

And guys try not to own so much at first lol

I like editing configs and making scripts :(

reminds me of quake :) altho all new games seem to limit so much stuff now :(

Altho I think valve should just take out the wait command totally. The number of questionable scripts that utilize wait commands is amazing :( I know ZBlock blocked wait, don't think the latest one does tho.

It's a shame valve didn't make cs:s so you can't edit skins or ingame content at all, obiding by a 'pure' system like quake3 (pos adding CRC checks). So many exploitable bugs in the engine.

the latest zblock still blocks wait afaik
