The Mozilla Corporation has just released the latest version of the popular FireFox browser. This version of Mozilla Firefox 2 RC2 has support for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. Release Candidate 2 has several features, such as...

i was under the impression that in order to have an animated desktop, you need to set it as a html page, with a gif on, or flash animation on

Some of those desktop anims look cool:cool: Although it's shareware, and the system specs a re a bit higher than drempels, because it uses the Flash MX plug-in.

Drempels just animates 2D .jpeg images. Just fill up the drempels folder with whatever .jpeg images you have and it'll cycle through, quite relaxin to watch.

no software is needed for gifs animation.
just set it to be a wallpaper and the animation will start.

looks kinda silly with gifs so small if you ask me, make it kinda hard to se the icons too :cool:
but could look good with a bigger animated image which isnt to bright.

A gif the size of your native resolution would be huuuuuge, and you know how much windows hates you when you try and use a desktop image that has a large file size.
