Midway Announce UT3 Tidbits

Midway and Epic have recently released a few news tidbits about the highly-anticipated Unreal Tournament 3.

The first bit of news is that there will be a Limited Edition package.  This package will consist of a metal box, a hardback concept art book, and a bonus DVD containing behind the scenes footage and over ten hours of video tutorials on how to build mods for the game.  The Limited Edition will be available in the US and Europe, plus other important territories.  In the US it will have an MSRP of $59.99.  No word has been given about Europe's pricing.

It has also been announced that there will be no cross-platform multiplayer support between PC and PS3 players.  This is due to certification issues for the PS3 which is causing a delay for the PS3 version.  Epic declared they were unwilling to delay the PC launch in order to release the PS3 version at the same time.
