Microsoft Takes Action Against LIVE Cheaters
"The managers of Microsoft's Xbox LIVE service have not been pleased with the number of cheaters who artificially boost their Gamer Score and achievements"
Published: 27th March 2008 | Source: Major Nelson |
• Resetting the entire Gamerscore for an account to zero
• The account will be unable to regain all previously obtained achievements and Gamerscore, however, the players will have the ability to gain future Achievements by earning them fairly, like the majority of the Xbox LIVE community does.
• The account will be clearly labeled as a cheater for the community to view on xbox.com. You can see an example here. In dash, the personal view of the gamercard will be labeled as well.

Indeed.
We were testing a similar setup today with the QX9650, 790i and 2 GX2s and it was blue screening at stock during the Windows install, with only the most basic BIOS settings setup.
We weren't overly impressed, so I think you're doing well with what you have achieved so far for an Nforce board.
Setup seemed ok until you asked it to do some work (load).

I have just upgraded to the same board and chip as you
I have a tagan 900W PSU and Corsair DDR 3 9-9-9-24 memory
So far I am extremely disappointed with the board as it will just not overclock and remain stable at decent overclock percentage. I have also tried a Q6600 G0 stepping and again could not overclock past 2.8 Ghz same setup.
I have 2x XFX 8800 GTX cards also but they are not overclocked (yet)
It's a liquid cooled system so I cannot understand what the problem is, If I try anything higher than 10.5x mulipler or above the system turns off or blue screens or even fails to post :(
I am on BIOS 0402
Please can you post your settings and what BIOS your on :)
N.B. just crashed the machine again running at only 3.33Ghz so basically the mahine will not overclock at all !!
Thanks
