Fans of Microsoft's XBOX 360 now have something new on the way. Today, Microsoft released plans at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007, that they intend to launch a 512MB memory unit for the Xbox 360 game console and increase the official size limit of Xbox LIVE Arcade games from 50MB to 150MB.
| The 512MB memory unit, available worldwide beginning April 3, 2007, will retail for an estimated retail price of US$49.99 in North America, according to Microsoft. The 512MB memory unit will be pre-loaded with the Xbox LIVE Arcade game "Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved" from developer Bizarre Creations for a limited time. The original 64MB memory unit will simultaneously drop in price from an estimated retail price of US$39.99 to US$29.99, according to Microsoft. |
Microsoft said that the Xbox LIVE Arcade game size limit has increased from 50MB to 150MB, in order to give developers greater flexibility in game design and expanding the opportunity to add advanced game features while still keeping games compact.

You being an idiot does not help your cause
The people on this forum are generally helpful if you are civil and don't assume you know it all.
This is your last warning - and I KNOW XMS will agree with me. You're lucky I am in a forgiving mood. Having a pop at mods is NOT a good idea.
I only have the bios!
Its a new HDD with no operating system so I can't load application programs that check temps on to it!
many thanks!
You get a display on the screen correct? If so then your GPU is not broken...or most likely isn't broken.
An electric one with a probe will do, you need to embed it as close to the GPU core as possible and maybe try get it in contact with some TIM (all depends on size of probe)

Brilliant investment, im always using mine along with my k-type. But the latter is a fair bit more than £5.
