Joost, a broadband TV service run by the makers of Skype are now calling for beta testers.
| Joost™ is a new way of watching TV on the internet, which uses new and established technologies to provide the best of both the internet and TV worlds. We're in the process of making it as TV-like as we can, with programmes, channels and adverts. You can also see some things that we think will enhance the TV experience: searching for programmes and channels, for example, as well as social features like chat. Yea, that's the major downer in my opinion. Honestly, I'm a HUGE fan of an ultra small laptop. I'd rather have a small little laptop that is mediocre, than a 19 inch laptop that is pwnage.
I think the price is outrageous, however, it will sell well amoungst the non-pc-aware executive types as a new thing to show off - and claim the tax back on it sorta thing.
Soon as they been carrying it around for a while, and not being able to read too eligably off it, it`ll be something for the son to mess about with.

if its that small, just use a HP phone with wireless 200 bucks.
I'd love a light little laptop actually, just can't afford one :p
