Microsoft have announced the release of IE7+, a version of IE7 intended purely for Windows Vista and is said to contain more features than the XP version. The Vista version is also said to contain several bug fixes that will be seen soon in the IE7 for XP
Tony Schreiner of the IE7 team said:
"IE7+ takes advantage of Windows Vista-only features like Protected Mode, Parental Controls, and improved Network Diagnostics and takes advantage of big changes in Windows Vista that were 'not practical' to bring to earlier versions of Windows"
