IE7 Release Set For This Year
"IE7 Release Set For This Year"

Microsoft's IE 7 has been out in Beta form for a while and is readily available for download. Before 2007 IE7 will see its final version be shipped as a "high priority" update for Windows via Windows Update.
Set for general release by the end of 2006, the new browser is more secure and up-to-date. Whilst IE6 will not be discontinued, Microsoft strongly suggests migration to IE7 since IE6 has many loopholes for which countless security fixes are needed.
A growing percentage of PC users are converting to Mozilla Firefox as it has, for some time now, had all the improvements needed by IE as standard.
