Google Tests Live Search Updating
"A new search-as-you-type feature is now available to a limited number of users for testing."

Google is always working to improve on the experience they provide to their users. Some of you may have noticed their most recent attempt, as Google has begun limited testing of a new search feature: live search result updating/streaming.
Don't confuse this with Google Suggest. Rather than simply providing possible search completions on the fly, this feature actually causes the results listing to refresh and update itself as you type. To see how this works, take a look at the following video:
Currently views of the feature are mixed. Some feel that it is innovative and will be quite helpful in making searching faster/easier. Others feel it is pretty much a waste and will be annoying with the screen constantly flashing as the list updates itself. Should you find yourself in the latter camp, Google have provided the option to disable this result "streaming".
Only a small number of users have thus far reported having access to this feature, so if you're one of the "lucky" few, please let us know what you think of it.
