Gears of War DRM locks players out

"A fatal error for Epic means gamers can't play the game they bought without messing around with their system."

A Big Ooops!

GOW DRM hits players with unexpected blow.Epic may have made an epic mess of the DRM within the PC version of Gears of War and used a digital certificate which expired on the 28th of this month. This effectively means that if your PC's clock is set correctly, then you cannot play the game. The only way at the moment to get around this is to set the clock to before the 28th. There have been some pretty angry posts on Epic's forums over the faux-pas. Epic have been pretty coy in releasing any information on the error, with a simple statement issued by a super moderator on their forum:

We have been notified of the issue and are working with Microsoft to get it resolved. Sorry for any problems related to this. I'll post more once we have a resolution.

We are expecting the heated posts to continue until a resolution is found. The situation doesn't do any good for the already damaged image that DRM has with gamers. What adds insult to injury for those who bought the game is that those who have pirate copies are still able to play.

You can view the forum post on the Epic website. Have you been locked out of the game?  Does this affect what you think of DRM? Discuss in our forums here.

I'm looking for some 120mm fans which glow white.

I want either a white, clear or black fan body.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Max

I have some enermaz 120's and 92's.
They look awesome, and the best thing is you can switch the led's on or off

The Xigmatec's aren't what I'm looking for for this build.

The Enermax's look nice, but I'm not sure if they're quite what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with these fans? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Akasa-AK-FN055-120mm-Crystal-Clear-Frame-and-bright-white-rotor-blade-w-4-white-LED

By the looks of the specs, dead quiet and shift a lot of air at max revs. Nice!

See as my user title will attest, I believe db ratings about as much as I believe that 'the cheque is in the post', 'the dog ate it' and 'it doesn't taste of anything'.

So please tell me they really are inaudible. I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.
