Microsoft has invited the Mozilla team responsible for the programming of Firefox to their Vista HQ as part of their new open-source plan. Sam Ramji, director of open source software at MS said
"In the past the company has only invited commercial software developers to these labs. I'm committed to evolving our thinking beyond commercial companies to include open source projects, so I went to the non-trivial effort of getting slots for non-commercial open source projects."
According to Bit-Tech the head of firefox development responded positively to the invite. Hopefully we will be looking at Vista ready firefox as soon as vista is out.
