EA & DICE Studio Officially Announce New Game: Mirror's Edge
| EA & DICE finally confirmed its first non-Battlefield series game, a first person adventure called Mirror's Edge. Ever since EA acquired DICE Studio last year, it has been pushing for the development for a new franchise. Many people will looking closely to see how successfully this title is. Senior producer Owen O'Brien commented: "We want to change the way that players are able to move in first person. No more restrictions, no more being blocked by simple barriers such as walls and fences. We want to enable the player to move like a real person, with the ability to run, jump, vault and slide in a way that has never been seen before in a first person game." |

not at all m8 :wavey:
you can just make sure that the pull of the pump is not inverted towards gravity. its not good for the pump over long periods of time.
i dont think DDC can, i recall reading it somewhere if DDC run upside down, the bit(not sure what to call that floating bit) inside the pump will keep hitting the case and cause damage.
Hmm... I'm near positive I've seen a rig on XS where someone had their DDCs sideways... not sure about upside-down though
you cannot have a DDC upside down, all other positions are OK though in terms of mechanics, although pushing upwards will reduce flow and pump life.
pretty sure there is a sheet with the DDC which shows you which are ok.

My ddc ultra can not be used upside down, says no in the manual but you can point the barbs down, sideways etc...
Which pump and we can be more specific!
Edit: Llwyd beat me.

We are talking about a Swiftech MCP655! :)
Yip, can also confirm that DDC's cannot be run upside down, this is due to natural gravity pulling the impeller away from it's bearing/mount causing it to run to close to the top and sometime even foul on the top causing damage!
Any other Pump should be fine.. :)

lol, I just put the case on the side.. and the water went foamy.. Needs a top up before I run it on its side..
Ill do it tomorrow!
Thanks again Ham!
