Duke Nukem Trilogy Headed to PSP and DS

""Hail to the king baby""

A reincarnation of Apogee Software will bring three new Duke Nukem titles to portable systems starting next summer.

Let's face it. Duke Nukem Forever became one of the best examples of vaporware, and subsequently turned its developers 3D Realms into an industry laughing stock. It looked as if Duke had said "Come get some" for the last time. Fortunately though for fans of the popular franchise, it appears that Apogee Software is doing its best to get a trilogy released for portable systems. Apogee was the producer behind early 90's hits such as the original Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D and Raptor.

Apogee has released a 4 minute trailer which really doesn't show a hell of a lot, but the press release has helped shed some light on the three games which we now know will be: Chain Reaction; Proving Grounds, and Critical Mass. Expect Critical Mass to arrive first next Summer.

It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum..

Will the Duke Nukem Trilogy ever see the light of day? Feel free to share your thoughts in our forum, or alternatively share your favourite Duke saying.

Nephew was playing FFIII on his DS yesterday, I didn`t know they had remade it.

Bout time they brought them all out for Vista LOL. FFVII was a pita to get working and then it looked shizzle. Emulating it with my old ps cds looked better.

I had no troubles getting FF7 to run on the PC but your right emulating it did look better.

And for all your die hard FF fans FFXIII should be coming to PC.

I doubt that'd happen.

There was alot of talk about M$ adding a Blu-Ray drive to their 360.

hehe I`m sure he`s played the original 1-6, or something like that, that was release as a cartridge for some game system.

Some familiar names but a crazy 2d little sprite thing wondering around in areas that look pretty much the same.

Couldn`t play those tbh. I had a similar game for the smartphone and it was mad.
