Catalyst Drivers Upgraded to Version 9.6
AMD has again upgraded its Catalyst drivers; version 9.6 adds several new performance tweaks in addition to improved Linux support. In particular, Catalyst 9.6 adds production support for SLED and SLED 11 and early support for RHEL 4.8 for Linux users.As a unified software suite, Catalyst 9.6 updates both the AMD Display Driver and the Catalyst Control Center. Among the major performance tweaks, AMD has resolved several issues that have been bugging Catalyst installations on various Windows versions. These tweaks include:
• Opening Crossfire pages no longer causes Catalyst Control Center to stop responding
• Catalyst Control Center: With some multi adapter systems in clone mode, disabling the primary display is now possible
• Changing the bitrate slider values, while transcoding WMV files, no longer causes Catalyst Control Center to stop responding
• Catalyst Control Center: On some systems configurations, the Overdrive option no longer fails to display
• Catalyst Control Center content no longer appears interlaced when automatic deinterlacing is enabled
• Catalyst Control Center: Display settings no longer missing when hot plugging a CRT display in clone mode
• Catalyst Control Center: Scaling option slider is no longer inadvertently enabled when using a non-HDTV resolution
• Fixed a regression in ATI CAL that caused certain IL kernels that compiled and executed properly with Catalyst version prior to 9.4 to no longer work properly with Catalyst 9.4 or later
On the performance side of things too, AMD has made several improvements. Check out the major changes below:
• Company of Heroes – performance improves up to 25% with HD 4600 series products and below as well as improvements of up to 10% on HD 4800 series
• Crysis – performance improves up to 13% in multi-GPU configurations
• Crysis Warhead – performance improves up to 11% in multi-GPU configurations
• World in Conflict – performance improvements of up to 30% can be seen in settings that were previously CPU limited

I saw that too, Perhaps it was for a US side comp and they just havn't changed it?
Apparently this compo has been spoken about all over.
But after talking to Jim you just have to fill in the middle and right hand side colums.

Well my kits turned up so assuming that the others either have, or will shortly have theirs.
How are we gonna approach documenting this. Would it be best to knock up a template that needs to be filled in at the end of the week? When are we going to officially start? Should everything go onto the front page or be done in a thread? Have AMD said anything about how it's to be conducted?

Its all been a bit vague, but I think what we really need is a dedicated thread which starts out by telling everyone what is goign on (who got the amd sponsorship, what they got, why...etc) and then get all entrants to start logging their progress in the single thread maybe?
