Tagan Release the TG1300-U6 1.3kw PSU

World renowned power supply manufacturer Tagan has released the latest in their Turbojet Plus line, the TG1300-U6. Capable of delivering an astounding 1300 watts (1.3kw) of power, the TG1300-U6 features six independent +12 V rails to provide different devices with individual power, and thus making the system more stable. Should the need arise, the TG1300-U6 features an +12 V rails auto-combine mode which offers the integration of four rails into one single rail resulting in more DC output power.

The TG1300-U6 is Nvidia G80 tested and ready, and supports NVIDIA SLI and Quad-SLI technologies as well as ATI Crossfire graphic cards courtesy of the inclusion of two 6-pin & two 6+2 pin PCI Express connectors.

The TG1300-U6 provides universal motherboard compatibility due to 20+4 pin main power as well as 4-pin & 8-pin +12 V power connectors, and boasts an 80% efficiency rating which is impressive considering the wattage that the unit provides.

For those who value silence the TG1300-U6 features Thermal fan control TSCT (Tagan Silence Control Technology) which automatically adjusts fan speed to lowest noise (under 30dBA at max. load) whilst providing perfect cooling.

Mr. Smith
So unnecessary.

Even a quad core sli 8800 maxed out would probably pull 700w full load. In fact, did Nick not run sucha machine on 520w corsair?

I suppose if you buy this you'd never, ever, need another psu. Of course you'd need a lifetime warranty to justify the purchase.

IMO :p
