Taiwanese Enermax Technology Corporation launches an economical and energy saving successor of the worldwide bestseller power supply series Liberty OC3D Official Press Release

It is the crowning of a successful year: Enermax has announced the launch of power supply series LibertyECO. Therewith the Taiwanese company completes its range of energy saving and high-efficient power supplies. At 230 V LibertyECO reaches an efficiency from 82 up to 86 percent fulfilling international energy saving standard 80PLUS® (www.80plus.org). Even from technical point of view LibertyECO is up-to-date. It supports latest power supply standard ATX12V v2.3 and is available in three power versions: 400, 500 and 620 watt. Depending on model a price range from 84,90 Euro to 149 Euro turns LibertyECO into an adequate and affordable power supply for all do-it-yourself PC builders and gamers.

ENERMAX LibertyECOFlexible and forward looking
After its launch in 2006 predecessor model Liberty became top-selling power supply with modular cable management in Europe. Modular adjustment of upgraded LibertyECO series is still an important advantage for potential customers. Unlike most ordinary power supplies only really necessary cables are attached so that users can adjust LibertyECO to their individual needs. This prevents cable tangle inside the PC case. Furthermore the new Enermax cable management standard with one 12 pin socket ensures compatibility with upcoming system components.

High-performance at a fair price
Enermax has an excellent reputation for the high quality and reliable workmanship of its products. Needless to say that even LibertyECO fulfils the high requirements of ambitious PC users. It furthermore combines all attributes of an innovative and user-friendly power supply: forward looking technology, high efficiency and performance at a fair price.

It's always been a great 'idea', implementation vS the price - considering individual component cost, has normally been a stumbling block.

I'd like to see them implement this well, have a good program for it, with maybe an upgrade thing similar to some other individual products.

And.. here's hoping for sensible pricing, or something u can subscribe to all year around.

The price is going to be interesting. People who always build their own computers probably aren't going to buy it, it'll just be too expensive. I'm sure there will be a market for it, people buy Alienware machines and those crazy expensive PC's that Dell sold a while ago before buying Alienware.
