IE7 not to be integrated into windows

Microsoft allow IE to be uninstallable

It Appears Microsoft have caved in and said that Internet Explorer is to be “uninstallable”

Have Microsoft made this announcement in light of the EU’s complaints against them? I very much doubt it but it is certainly an interesting move on their part.
This is good for those who like to keep their OS secure too: not including this as a necessity means that flaws in IE cannot be exposed if its not there…unlike now.

It seems, though, that Microsoft will include their mail system as an integral part of Vista: much like Apple Mail on Mac OSX

Interesting? Or suspect foul play?
