Well folks, it's probably been one of the most talked about news items over the past week or so...Will AMD and ATI unite? According to news, hot off the press; it's a done deal. Yes, American Micro Devices (AMD) and ATI Technologies have just pulled off one of the largest coups ever, reportedly valued at around US$5.4 Billion. The deal is expected to be completed by Q4 2006 once all legal obligations have been dealt with, and shareholder commitments have been addressed/approved.

I didn't care for Cancun all that much, it was far to touristy for my taste. I ended up leaving early and spending the rest of my trip on Cozumel which was a bit more my speed :) Definately worth checking out while you're down there.
