Talk Talk to become largest Residential ISP in UK
The Carphone Warehouse is expected to pay 236 million pounds in cash for the UK assets of the Italian group Tiscali, making them the single largest residential ISP in the UK, overtaking Virgin Media. BT still remain the largest broadband provider in the UK with 4.7 million customers, compared to the 4.25 million of CPW when Tiscali's 1.45 million is added on and Virgin Media's 4 million customers.
Before the deal can go through Tiscali must obtain formal approval to restructure its debt, but it's expected that the deal will be completed by the end of June.

So... it's just a 133mhz bus increment ?
Guinea-pigged the community to notice I7 customers are taking their cpus to 4-4.2ghz without noticing a fart in the room.
They slap an extra £100 on this and people will buy them.

Exactly. I was just about to say that the amateurs have managed to get nearly 4ghz on a 920 with reasonable cooling. So why would anyone pay extra, and so much flipping extra, for such a miniscule clock increase?
They really, really, need to start having their high-end processors at the absolute limit. If it was 4ghz @ £1k then more people will buy that one for the out-of-the-box ease, than if it's barely faster than the processor that's £600 or so cheaper.
Hmmmm.
