Take-Two Interactive Sues Chicago Transit Authority

Take-Two, makers of the Grand Theft Auto series, has decided to sue the Chicago Transit Authority for pulling down it's GTA IV adverts.

Take-Two have claimed that the company has violated its free speech and contractual rights, saying that the Transit Authority have taken down the GTA posters just days after they had been put up on the 22nd of April. Take-Two have said that the Transit Authority and its sales agent, Titan Outdoor, have violated a $300,000 ad campaign agreement.

The Agreement was for the Transit Authority to display Grand Theft Auto IV posters on sides of buses and other transit owned ad space throughout the city of Chicago's transit system for the time between April and June. Sources say that the Transit Authority pulled the adverts after a News Story on FOX which questioned why the ad was allowed after the recent crime waves.
