Russia vs Georgia The CyberWarYou have probably heard or read the headlines about the Russian invasion of Georgia, but there may be a new development in the escalating conflict. It is reported that the Georgian internet infrastructure has suffered attacks, those attacks are claimed to have stemmed from Russia. Though these attacks were first monitored by the United States Computer Response Readiness Team (US-CERT) in late July, they believed that it did not indicate a test run for a full on attack, which may now be the case.

A blog website, RBNExploit, which is claiming to be acting as an unofficial news branch of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a server routing map it claims points the finger squarely at the Russians. they have also published several traceroute screenshots, that are claimed to be further proof.
