New Reviewer - equk

Hi, I'm B.Walden AKA equk on the forums. I was amazed when I heard OC3D were looking for new reviewers. Within minutes of reading the news I had sent off an email with all of my details, links to articles I had written & almost my CV.

I hope I can do OC3D justice as I know there are some amazing people on the team already. I already know a few of them quite well from being in the OC3D CounterStrike Source Clan.

I look forward to writing articles in the future and hope I will live up to the high standards already set by the previous reviewers.

I've finally got my setup installed (bare without any of my goods in the case) it's a naked Lian-Li PC-65 with all the tubing connected. I do have a reservior, and would like to begin the leak test tommorow. The only question I do have is... if I need to drain the distilled water out, how will I do it? Also I have MCT-5 but was wondering if it's a concentrate (do i need to add distilled water) or pre-mixed?

Let me tell you something. MCT-5 is a BETTER conductor than water. Do you have any iodine stuff at home? Use straight water, plus some biocide, and maybe dye.

i do have iodine. for my salt water fish tank. but erm, i'm trying to figure out how to drain the liquid when I have my components in there. (for maintainance. such as a drain valve or some other sort. Any suggestions? I noticed that koolance has a kit, but does not have 1/2 size. btw: any pics on how the T section is installed?

If you want to see a 'T' section then have a look here (4th pic down in front of the pump). It's designed to facilitate easier filling and emptying of the loop.

I suggest you remove all that MCT s*** and fill your system with distilled water, and add some of that iodine.
Draining liquid? Just tip the res over...into a bucket or something

yeh just put the res in a bucket on the floor lower than all the other components and all the water should drain. :D
