Intel & TMSC Joint Announcement Monday
"Two of the industry's giants in the chip sector seem to have something in the works between them."

Word is that Intel, top chipmaker, and the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), top chip foundry, will be making a strategic announcement at the Intel Headquarters this coming Monday. This meeting will involve chief of the mobility sector Anand Chandrashekar and sales chief Sean Maloney from Intel and the CEO and sales chief of TSMC.
While Intel and TSMC have so far kept quiet on what this is about, speculation is that it has something to do with Intel's mobile and WiMax products due to the guys involved on Intel's side of things as well as the two giants' past collaboration on the production of the WiMax chips.
