Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders.

On February 13, Hitachi unveiled a tiny, new “powder” type RFID chip measuring 0.05 x 0.05 mm — the smallest yet. Hitachi say that they aim to begin marketing in 2 to 3 years. The new chips are 64 times smaller than the previous record holder, the 0.4mm x 0.4mm mu-chips, and nine times smaller than Hitachi's last year prototype, and yet still make room for a 128-bit ROM that can store a unique 38-digit ID number.

At 5 microns thick, the RFID chips can more easily be embedded in sheets of paper, meaning they can be used in paper currency, gift certificates and identification. But since existing tags are already small enough to embed in paper, it leads one to wonder what new applications the developers have in mind.

Nah I wouldn`t even comtemplate the swap tbh m8y.

Maybe a handy pc for some1 to have, but when U look at it in terms of upgrading this`n`that, u`r gonna be in the same boat as the cele setup u have now, maybe a bit worse off tbh considering it`s agp etc.
