Many websites get the backlash of Twitter attack
Many users trying to visit their favourite websites today are being faced with the the error seen below.
This web site at www.domain.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Don't worry though, they have done nothing wrong. According to sources, the script many of these websites use to track their visitor stats has been incorrectly blacklisted by the Google Site Advisory (utilised by Firefox to block access to malicious sites) for being used as a means of infecting visitors PC's and launching the DDOS attack that targeted Twitter and other social networking sites.

One of the affected websites is SpecialTech, a UK retailer. When we asked SpecialTech what the issues were, they claimed that their website was fine and the offending script had been removed as a matter of precaution to protect their customers.
