"AMD Asks Court To Allow Key Intel Docs"

Advanced Micro Devices Inc., the No. 2 computer chip maker behind Intel Corp., asked the court overseeing its antitrust lawsuit against Intel to force the company to produce documents related to its conduct outside of the United States.
The judge had previously ruled AMD cannot sue in the U.S. for Intel's alleged monopolistic tactics overseas. But AMD argued in the motion filed Monday in a Delaware federal court that the order only applies to damages sought in the U.S. for Intel's alleged strong-arm tactics abroad. AMD maintains it should be allowed to use documentation of those actions to pursue domestic commerce claims.
