Super Talent's new DDR3 memory modules called Project X will support XMP. What's that I hear you say? What is XMP? Well I'll tell you. XMP stands for Extreme memory profiles.

What XMP does is utilize a reserved sector of the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) on the memory modules to store factory configured profiles of memory timing settings. What this allows us to do is have a much more successful overclock when clocking the memory. Allowing overclockers to squeeze every last bit of juice out of the chips.
Unfortunately since XMP was developed by Intel this means XMP is only optimized for Intel P35 and X38 chipsets.
Hopefully soon we will see XMP supporting nForce chipsets too.

According to Super Talent Marketing Director, Joe James, "Project X was designed to support XMP from the very start, so every Project X kit we've ever shipped already supports XMP." Mr. James added, "We're very happy to bring new performance enhancing features like XMP to market through our partnership with Intel. XMP replaces the pain of tweaking every individual memory parameter with the simplicity of selecting a single performance profile to optimize memory timings."Project X DDR3 memory is developed in Super Talent's Silicon Valley Engineering Labs to deliver the highest attainable DDR3 memory performance. Project X memory combines blistering fast clock speeds with aggressively tuned latencies, XMP support and an extreme cooling solution. Project X is the ultimate DDR3 memory for gaming and extreme performance computing. Super Talent will showcase its full range of flash and memory products including Project X at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) this week in San Francisco.

Ham said he'd find something else if Kempez had any more stickers.

OFSTED are demons!

When I was at school the headteacher got soo stressy, starting sending people home because there was wearing black trainers. The school did get a pretty awesome score though, considering 40% of them are pikeys. Mostly with the last name Jones
